OPEN REGISTRATION

Date: June 23rd 2022

INCLIVA is pleased to invite you to the final action of the European project HUTER consisting on a training session called “Cloud-based open access platform, validation of its usability”, which will take place on June 23 virtually between 14:45 and 16:15 CET.

Researchers such as Claudia Buhigas from the University of East Anglia, Beatriz Rosón and Raúl Pérez from INCLIVA, and Cristóbal Bernardo Castiñeira and Antón Martínez from BAHIA Software SLU will show the latest advances in the HUTER platform.

The platform aims to be a highly effective tool in the use, search and visualization of data, laying the foundations to allow improvements towards more personalized therapies and highly accurate and less invasive diagnostic procedures. In addition, the design of the platform promotes its usability (user interfaces, guides and use cases) while ensuring its scalability.

During the session, the HUTER platform will be applied to various use cases to demonstrate its potential as a storage, processing and analysis tool for biomedical research data, such as single-cell RNAseq data, imaging, clinical data, biological data, etc. Data generated during the HUTER project research will be used in the demonstration.

For all these reasons, HUTER makes available to the international biomedical research community the first atlas of the human uterus, which will include:

  • Datasets on single cell RNA sequencing and single-cell methylation and transcriptome sequencing.
  • High resolution images of cells analysed in their histological context.
  • Generated knowledge on new cell types and states, their spatial localization in the tissues.

The session is especially focused on:

  • ICT scientists, researchers, and technologists in the fields of software engineering, big data, cloud computing, computer science, software modeling, machine learning, and simulation.
  • Physicians, researchers, and clinicians working on uterine diseases (especially in the fields of infertility, preeclampsia, and endometriosis), cellullar mapping, and human tissue profiling.
  • Biotechnological SMEs and the medical industry in the area of big data, as well as biotechnological companies, reproductive medicine and gynecology centers, molecular and cellular simulation, modeling, medical devices, etc.
  • Managers in hospitals and heads of departments of gynecology, oncology (endometrial cancer) and regenerative medicine, mostly.
  • Regional and national public administrations in the field of health carrying out public procurement of innovative devices and technologies for gynecology and disease management.

If you are interested, we invite you to join the session!
